Do Bed Bugs Jump?
Do Bed Bugs jump? I have seen two of the same type of unusual bug in my home & killed them They were distinctive because they jumped pretty far. I have been working in a group home where bedbugs have been a problem. Please advise.

Bed bugs (Cimex lectularius) do not jump. They are crawling insects and primarily rely on crawling to move around. If you have observed a bug that jumps, it is likely not a bed bug. Other insects that can infest homes and are known for their jumping abilities include fleas and springtails.
Fleas are small, reddish-brown insects that are known for infesting pets and can jump long distances. Springtails, on the other hand, are tiny, usually gray or white insects that jump using a specialized appendage called a furcula.
