Bed Bug Protection for Furniture with No Legs
Have bed bugs in all 3 bedrooms now. Are using the climb up traps for the beds. Haven't seen them in the living room yet but who knows. What kind of trap can you use if you have 2 lazy boy couches? They have no feet.
Editor Suggestion
I am sorry to hear that you're dealing with a bed bug infestation. It's important to take action quickly to prevent them from spreading further.
For your couches, there are a few options you could consider:
Bed Bug Interceptor Traps: You could use bed bug interceptor traps that are specifically designed to fit under furniture legs. These traps can be placed under the legs of your couches and will trap any bed bugs that try to crawl up onto the furniture.
Sticky Traps: Another option is to use sticky traps. These are adhesive pads that can be placed under or around the couches. Bed bugs will get stuck to the pads when they try to crawl onto the furniture.
Encasements can be a great option for protecting your couches from bed bugs. You could consider using specially designed bed bug couch covers that completely encase your furniture, making it difficult for bed bugs to get in or out. Any bed bugs that are already inside the furniture will eventually die off. You can find a variety of bed bug couch covers online at websites such as
DoMyOwn.com.
However, it's important to note that encasements alone may not completely eliminate a bed bug infestation. You may need to consider hiring a professional exterminator to thoroughly treat your home and get rid of the bed bugs.
